A minor change version of Netgear's XS708E 10GBASE-T compatible switch is now available!　The successor to the XS708E-100AJS

NETGEAR's XS708E-200AJS 8-port switch supporting 10GBASE-T is now available at Oriospec.

The XS708E-200AJS is the successor to the XS708E-100AJS released in 2013.

Compared to the previous model, latency has been enhanced from less than 7μsec to less than 3μsec (10GBASE-T), VLANs have been increased from 64 to 128, and the number of QoS queues has doubled from 4 to 8. In addition, broadcast storm suppression (11 levels from 512 kbps to 512 Mbps) and rate limiting (11 levels from 512 Kbps to 512 Mbps) are available for each port.

Key specifications include: packet buffer memory: 2MB, switching fabric: 160Gbps, packet forwarding: 119.0Mpps, latency: less than 3μsec (10G-10G).
