The recording comments from the TV anime "TRICKSTER - from Edogawa Rampo's "Detective Boys"",which will start in October, have been made public.

TRICKSTER" is an original anime based on Edogawa Rampo's novel "Detective Boys" and set in the near future. Set in Tokyo in the year 203X, the film depicts the encounter between Kobayashi and Hanazaki, and the fate of the mysterious detective Akechi Kogoro and the criminal of the century, the Twenty-Faced Monster.Directed byMasahiro Mukai of"Hyperdimension Neptunia" , series composition and script by ErikaYoshidaof "TIGER & BUNNY" script ,character design by PEACH-PIT of "Rozen Maiden", and animation production by TMS Entertainment and Shin-Ei Animation.

The nine main cast members have now arrived at the post recording session to talk about the atmosphere on the set and their impressions of the work.

Hiroki Yamashita as Yoshio Kobayashi
I had the impression that Kobayashi was mysterious, not knowing what he was thinking at first glance, but as I played the role, I gradually began to understand what he was thinking and what he wanted to convey, which made me happy.
I was not able to understand the deep relationship between the characters in the four episodes yet, but the content makes me look forward to the next episode every time, so I am looking forward to the recording sessions with excitement and thrill.
I'm excited to be a part of it, and I'm looking forward to the next episode every time. I'm having the most fun with Ryouchin's Hanazaki so far, and I enjoy their bumpy interactions (laughs).

Ryota Osaka as Kensuke Hanazaki
The characters have more quirks than I had imagined at first, and it was quite difficult to create the roles.
I am looking forward to seeing the new faces they will show us.
The atmosphere on the set is evenly split between men and women, but we all get along well and talk a lot during breaks.
I hope I can bring that atmosphere to the production.

Daisuke Ono as Kogoro Akechi
It is an exciting place to work, building a new work from the ground up.
There are a lot of mysteries in this work, but I want to work closely with the staff to make it a good work!

Yuichiro Umehara as Ryo Inoue
TRICKSTER is an original work, so I was looking forward to seeing how it would turn out until I received the script.
After reading the script, I wondered how I could make the best use of Ryo Inoue's personality amidst all the unique characters.
Once the recording session started, I naturally found my position as Ryo Inoue in the dialogue with the other cast members.
As a member of the Detective Boys, I will continue to play the role of Ryo Inoue to the best of my ability.

Kabuki Kido, who plays Makoto Noro
The pictures in this work are very beautiful and there are many unique characters, including Makoto Noro, who I am playing, so I am very much looking forward to seeing how the story will unfold!
I will be working with wonderful senior cast members, so I will cherish every recording and do my best to play the role of Makoto Noro well while learning from them.

Takuya Masumoto as Masaharu Katsuta
At first, the director told me that Katsuta has an air of a "young Ken Takakura" about him.
I want to express Katsuta's passion in his taciturnity as soon as possible.
I don't know yet how Katsuta will get involved with the Detective Boys, but Daisuke Ono is creating a friendly atmosphere on the set, so I am looking forward to the next recording!

Shin Furukawa as Hisashi Otomo
Otomo has been in the show since episode 4, so I joined in the middle of the show, but I honestly felt that the teamwork among the cast was very good.
The director and I worked together to create Otomo's character in the episodes he appeared in, and I think he has become a character with his own quirks, but in a good way.
I am looking forward to the future development of his character.

Shosei Yamatani as Tasuku Yamane
There were people who I have become good friends with on a regular basis, and the atmosphere on the set was friendly, warm, and comfortable. Since it was an original work, I was not able to read the original work and research the character I was to play. I am hoping that I will be able to make the characters more appealing through my own imagination and fantasies, and increase the rate of synchronization with them as the recording sessions go on.
Thank you very much for your support for TRICKSTER!

Azusa Tadokoro as Nao Nakamura
I was very nervous during the first postrecording, but the cast was very kind to me, and now we are recording in harmony!
I am playing the role of Nao Nakamura, a skilled female detective! It's a role that is quite different from my own, so it feels really good to feel like a cool and smart woman just then! (Laughs) I've always wanted to give orders to my subordinates!
I am looking forward to seeing how the story will progress from now on!
