TV anime "Osomatsu-san" collaborates with Kabuki!　Original products using newly drawn illustrations are coming one after another!

From the TV anime "Osomatsu-san," a collaboration project with Kabuki, a traditional Japanese culture, has been announced.



The collaboration illustration, which will serve as the motif, was planned and supervised by Shochiku's Theatrical Development Planning Department, and drawn by studio Pierrot, the producer of the main anime. The first product is a Kabuki fried bean curd.

The first products are Kabuki fries, acrylic key chains, can badges, clear files, tenugui hand towels, hand mirrors, purse, and oil-absorbent paper, and will go on sale September 16 at Shochiku Kabukiya Honpo, all 27 theaters affiliated with Shochiku Multiplex Theaters (SMT), and the "Froovie" mail order site. In addition, "Rakuten App Market Collection" will offer a lottery with no-lose prizes such as goodwill, clear posters, mini-totes, hand towels, wall stickers, and hanging scrolls, and FamilyMart will sell bromide at its "Famima Print" multi-copy machine. A second bromide featuring newly drawn illustrations will also be available by the end of the year.

Below is the background of each character illustration design.


Osomatsu: The image color is red, the basic form of the six children, and the spirit of the lion cub: the role that everyone thinks of when they hear the word "Kabuki".
Karamatsu: The image color is blue. He is a narcissist who thinks he is handsome.
Choromatsu: His image color is green. He is the only one who has common sense and plays the role of a sharp-toothed man. He fights a lot, but in fact, he loves his brothers.
Ichimatsu: His image color is purple. He is a sarcastic person who goes at his own pace. He is a cat lover → Genkurokitsune: He is not a cat, but he wears cat ears. He wears cat ears.
Jyushimatsu: His image color is yellow. He is a high-spirited natural idiot → Ichijo Daizo: He is a so-called "lord idiot" character (actually, he is an intelligent person).
