Live-action film version of "Fullmetal Alchemist" finally cranked up! The original author, Hiromu Arakawa, also visited the filming site.

The 2017 movie "Fullmetal Alchemist" has been cranked up.

Fullmetal Alchemist" is a masterpiece by manga artist Hiromu Arakawa, which was serialized in the monthly Shonen Gan Gan magazine from 2001 to 2010.The story depicts the tumultuous adventures and growth of Edward, the older brother who lost a part of his body at the cost of "human alchemy," the greatest taboo in alchemy, and Alphonse, the younger brother who lost his entire body and had his soul fixed in his armor , andgained explosive popularity with the TV anime and anime theater versions. Itwas said to be impossible to visualize the story in Japan due to its fantastical worldview, butWarner Bros. Pictures has mobilized all its resources to produce a live-action film version.

Fullmetal Alchemist" is being made into a live-action film! Starring Ryosuke Yamada and a superb cast including Tsubasa Honda, Dean Fujioka, and Yasuko Matsuyuki.

The film was shot on location in Italy, where there are remnants of the existence of alchemists in the past. He looked at the elaborate costumes and sets with great interest and drew an illustration on the filming board at the site.

After about three months of filming, Director Sori commented, "I have been pursuing new possibilities for Japanese films, such as using a shooting style that has never been used in Japanese films before. After about three months of shooting in Italy, I have completed what I needed to shoot with the cast and crew in terms of realistic images, and now it is my duty to complete the film. I am now going to work on it step by step. I hope that the fans will support this film, which was created by the staff and cast through repeated discussions on how to incorporate the themes and charms of the original work and comic books while creating a "form" that can only be achieved in live-action.
