TV animation "3 Nen D Gumi: The Mask of Glass" to start in October!　Commemorating the 40th anniversary of the serialization, 3D animation work

The TV animation "3 Nen D Gumi: The Mask of Glass" will start airing in October.

This work is a reboot of Suzue Minai's "The Glass Mask," a bestseller that has sold over 50 million copies in total, as a 3D animation work. It is a school gag in which Kitajima Maya and her friends, who have time-slipped to the present day, live their high school life and satirize modern society. The highlights are the cute deformed characters and Tsukikage Chigusa as a student, while retaining the atmosphere of the original work. The script is by Deko Akao of "Arakawa Under the Bridge" and the animation is produced by DLE of "Secret Society: Hawk's Nail.

The key visuals, cast information, and teaser PV have been released. Kana Asumi will play Maya Kitajima, Rumi Okubo will play Ayumi Himekawa, Atsuko Tanaka will play Chigusa Tsukikage, Yuki Kaji will play Yu Sakurakoji, and Daisuke Ono will play Masumi Hayami. The program will air on TOKYOMX every Monday from October 3 at 9:55 p.m.
