Animated film "Poppin Q" and RAB (Real Akiba Boys) collaborate in another world! Dance Video Released!

A collaborative video has been released from the animated film "Poppin Q," which will be released in January 2017.



Poppin Q" is an original theatrical animation produced to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Toei Animation.Thefilmdepicts five adolescent girls who are suddenly charged with the mission of saving the world from a crisis, and how they grow up through dance as a means of that mission.Directed by Naoki Miyahara of "Dragon Ball Z" and "Pretty Cure All Stars DX 3D Theater," with original character design by Kohaku Kuroboshi of "Kino's Journey" series and character design and chief animation director Takayuki Uragami of "Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Secret Tools Museum.


This time, an otherworldly collaboration between the "Poppin' Tribe" and ani-song dance performers "Real Akiba Boys" is realized, where the girls meet in the Valley of Time. The theme of the released video is the "Dance of Courage" danced by the Poppin Tribe in the play, and the acrobatic performance of Real Akiba Boys is fused with the Poppin Tribe's firmly formed hip-hop-based dance formations.

It has been decided that this collaborative dance will also be performed on stage at the "DANCE STAGE PROJECT 2016" finals to be held at Sanrio Puroland on September 22.
