KADOKAWA Anime Music Event "KADOMYU! is a live event held on September 4 (Sun.), where visual images, voice actors, and singers of KADOKAWA anime gathered together. Minori Chihara, Yoyoko Ishida, Mai Kadowaki, Ayumi Ohashi, Kanako Ito, Iori Nomizu, Konomi Suzuki, Hitomi Harada, Yukinobu Nishizawa, Sayoshi Oishi, OxT, MYTH & ROID, Machico, Natsumi Hioka, Maki Hanatani, and many more, Fourfolium, and many others.

The live performance is scheduled to be broadcast on WOWOW on October 16 (Sun.), and will also be distributed on "dAnime Store" this winter . Below is the official report.

KADOKAWA anime live event "KADOKAWA! 2016"was held at NHK Hall in Tokyo on September 4, 2016 (Sun).

When the show started, images of KADOKAWA anime works were shown one after another on the big screen in the center of the hall, arousing the anticipation of the gathered fans.When Kanako Ito, the top performer, appeared on stage to sing "Hacking to the Gate," red psyllium flowers bloomed in the audience, and the images from the animations added to the excitement of the audience.

The excitement was still building when Konomi Suzuki, who appeared next, asked the audience to clap their hands, and the venue was enveloped in an even greater frenzy. Then Iori Nomizu, dressed in a silver dress reminiscent of Chaika, the heroine of "Chaika the Coffin Princess," sang "DARAKENA.

Oishi Masayoshi followed with a classical guitar in his hand, strumming his guitar nimbly for the green-colored audience. At this point, Tom-H@ck was called in to start O×T's stage. They performed "STRIDER'S HIGH" while enjoying the calls from the fans.

Hitomi Harada appeared in a sexy black and red kimono and performed "Kairore!The atmosphere of the venue turned into an idol eventas fourfolium, a fresh unit consisting of Yuuki Takada, Ai Yamaguchi, Megumi Toda, and Ayumi Takeo, all of whom were born from "NEW GAME!They sang three songs, including "Gugutto Work☆", which was performed for the first time in front of fans.

After an impressive clip from "The Disappearance of Yuki Nagato Chan" was shown, Minori Chihara in a pure white dress sang "Arigatou, Daisuki" softly, and Konomi Suzuki in a blue dress appeared again to perform "Love is MY RAIL," a number with a fast-paced atmosphere.

Then fresh junior high school singer Maki Hanatani appeared on stage. Natsumi Hioka, who plays the role of Machi Ameshuku, the main character in "Kumamiko," and Natsu, a brown bear, appeared on stage. They sang "Kumamiko Dancing" and played a role in promoting the village of Kumade, the setting of the film. Machico, who said she had been looking forward to this day, sang "fantastic dreamer," her first anime tie-in song.

The "Strike Witches" series took the stage from here. Yoyoko Ishida sang "Watashi ni Natteiru Koto", the theme song of the first season OP, and Mai Kadowaki acting Sonya V. Litvyak and Ayumi Ohashi acting Eila Ilmatar Utilainen sang "SWEET DUET", showing their good friendship as in the story.

In the talk corner, secret guests Ai Kakuma playing Hikari Ganbuchi and Yumi Hara playing Alexandra I. Pokruyshkin appeared from "Brave Witches" scheduled to air in October. They looked back on the series up to now and talked about the highlights of this work. Ishida then performed the OP theme song "Egao no Mahou (Magic of Smiles)" for the first time, which enlivened the audience.

The second half of the event began. Yukikane Nishizawa sang "Fuki Yuki" with guitar in hand, followed by Iori Nomizu singing "mieleparadiso," Hitomi Harada singing "Overdrive," and Konomi Suzuki singing "This game. Then MYTH&ROID, a hot artist one year after their debut, performed "Paradisus-Paradoxum" and "L.L.L." on the red-tinted stage. The last song was "Paradise Lost" sung by Minori Chihara, bringing the three-hour-long stage to a close.
