The anime "Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love" consists of seven chapters!　Chapter 1 will be screened in theaters from February 25, 2017

An official report from the production announcement of the anime "Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love" has arrived.

Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love" is a sequel to "Space Battleship Yamato 2199," a remake of the classic "Space Battleship Yamato" that became a hot topic. As the title suggests, the film is inspired by the 1978 animated film "Farewell Space Battleship Yamato: Warriors of Love. Three years after Yamato completes its voyage to Iskandar, the film depicts the threat of the battle nation of Gatlantis, and the new voyage of Yamato's crew to confront it. The executive producer is Shoji Nishizaki, the director is Nobuyoshi Habara of "Blue Sky Fafner," the assistant director is Makoto Kobayashi of "Space Battleship Yamato: Resurrection," and the series composition and screenplay are by Harutoshi Fukui of "Mobile Suit Gundam UC.

At the production announcement held on September 5, Daisuke Ono (Susumu Akita), Noriko Kuwashima (Moriyuki), Shoji Nishizaki , Nobuyoshi Habara, Harutoshi Fukui, and special guests Asuka Cambridge and Kelly appeared. It was announced that "2202" will consist of seven chapters, and that the first chapter will be screened at 15 theaters nationwide for two weeks from February 25, 2017 (Saturday).
