Fall Anime "Tiger Mask W" Announces Additional Cast Members! Real-life pro-wrestler Hiroshi Nagata is played by Masaki Terasoma

Additional cast members have been announced for the TV anime "Tiger Mask W," which will start in October.



Tiger Mask W" is a new TV animation series based on the manga "Tiger Mask" (original story by Kajiwara Ikki/illustration by Tsuji Naoki), which supported the pro wrestling boom of the past, and is one of Toei Animation's 60th anniversary projects. The mask left behind by Naoto Date, the masked wrestler of justice "Tiger Mask," is given to a new professional wrestler, and the battle between the two young wrestlers and the revived organization Tora no Ana begins. With the full cooperation of New Japan Pro-Wrestling, the film features appearances by real-life pro-wrestlers.


Three additional cast members have now been unveiled. Hikari Kushima, a female reporter for Monthly Pro Wrestling World, will be played by Izumi Tachibanada, and Ryu Wakamatsu, a young pro wrestler who adores Kazuchika Okada, will be played by Daisuke Kishio. In addition, Masaki Terasoma will voice the real-life pro-wrestler Hiroshi Nagata, who is the leader of the players and the axis of the storyline.
