Anime "WIMUSHI PEDAL SPARE BIKE," "Makishima Arc" is a double feature!　Visualization of episodes not included in the comics!

From the anime "WIMUSHI PEDAL SPARE BIKE," which is currently being screened for a special two-week limited run starting September 9, it was announced that the "Yusuke Makishima Arc" will be a double feature.



The anime is based on the manga series by Wataru Watanabe, serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Champion, and is a spin-off series of "Weak Mushi Pedal", which depicts the past stories of two major climbers, Yusuke Makishima and Jeihachi Todo, as well as an extra part, the comedy "Soreike Arakita kun" as an extra part. The third season of the TV anime "Wimpy Pedal" will begin in January 2017.

It was revealed that the "Yusuke Makishima Arc" will be a double feature. In addition to the episode depicting Makishima's early days at Sohoku High School included in the first volume of the comics, the manga drawn by Wataru Watanabe that appeared in the booklet of the first three volumes of the Blu-ray & DVD limited editions of the second TV anime season will also be included in the film. The story depicts Makishima's struggle and how he gains a certain "courage" when his "partner" road bike breaks down due to his unique riding style, but he is unable to abandon it due to the attachment he has developed with it, and tries to seal off his own riding as well.
