Girls und Panzer: The 2nd Heartfelt Tank Carnival" Report on the big event featuring 30 performers.
On August 28, 2016, the "2nd Heartful Tank Carnival" event for the anime "Girls und Panzer" was held. A total of 30 cast members, artists, and special guests took the stage at the venue, Pacifico Yokohama National Grand Hall. The production of the new "Girls und Panzer: The Last Chapter" was also announced, and the event was a great success.
The "2nd Heartful Tank Carnival" was a special event held in conjunction with the release of the "Girls und Panzer: The Movie" Blu-ray & DVD, which will be released in November 2015. The theater version is still showing nine months after its roadshow and has grossed over 2.3 billion yen at the box office. Some theaters have decided to extend the screening of the film until November 2016, making it a year-long run.
The second event, which surpassed the "Heartful Tank Carnival" held in May 2013, was attended by approximately 4,000 fans at Pacifico Yokohama. In the lobby before the show began, the "Maiwai Market," which sells specialty products from the town of Oarai in Ibaraki Prefecture, and other exhibitors showed off products directly from the production area, such as dried potatoes and crawfish crackers, making the event look like a lively festival.
The event started with an announcement in a loud voice not unlike that of "Girls und Panzer. The audience was surprised by this unexpected direction, but the fans seemed to have an idea about the identity of the voice. Then, the well-known entrance song "CRASH" was played, and the Galpin cheering ambassador, Masahiro Chono, made a guest appearance and read out some warnings to the audience, which drew applause and cheers from the audience.

Daisuke Kageura, who played the role of the official, also made a special appearance as the MC. He said, "Thank you very much for coming to the briefing session on the abolition of Oarai Girls' School," which was booed by the cast.
The "Tank Road Sugoroku" is a game in which players try to complete various missions written on the squares where the dice roll stops. The game included a quiz to guess the first day of post recording for the movie version, a gesture game in which participants had to use their bodies to express terms related to the work, a "Guess the most expensive tea" game in which they had to compare the tastes of expensive teas costing 10,000 yen, and a game in which they had to announce their favorite line. and "Let's relay the best lines! During a break in the game, artists from "Girls und Panzer" took the stage for a halftime show. Sasaki Saka sang "Anko Ondo," a song that was also the subject of a dance scene in the film. Mikako Takahashi changed into an ankou odori costume and performed a lively dance routine, which drew laughter from the audience.
ChouCho sang a total of four songs, including the opening theme "DreamRiser. Celebrating the 5th anniversary of her debut, she said that "I would not be where I am today if it were not for 'Galpan'" and that it is an important work for her. During the live corner, Ms. Sasaki and Ms. ChouCho collaborated on the image song "High-Flying Future" as a surprise, and the audience was intoxicated by this special moment only for this day.
In the latter half of the event, an original reading play "Election Campaign! was performed. The story continued from the movie version, with a comical episode in which the third-year students retire from the student council, and a general election is held to select new officers.
Misato Fukuen Misato, who plays Anne Kadoya, the student council president, participated in the reading, and Shiori Izawa, who plays Sodoko, Gomoyo, and Pazomi, skillfully performed the three roles. The cast received thunderous applause after their performance.
The three-hour event finally came to an end. At this point, the words "'Girls und Panzer' is not over yet" and "This is the last battle! and "This is the last battle!" were shown on the screen, and the production of "Girls und Panzer: The Final Chapter" was announced. The audience cheered the loudest of the day when the advance PV was shown. The cast members seemed surprised at the announcement of the sequel, mentioning that the characters' costumes had changed in the PV and that it was snowing, and they were reminded of the story they had yet to see.
For the finale, the two artists took the stage again, and everyone, including the fans, sang the ending theme song "Enter Enter Enter MISSION!
