The first thing that stands out is that the current No. 1 song for both the OP and ED is the theme song for "orange. The live-action movie version of "orange," based on the manga by Ichigo Takano, was a huge hit when it was released at the end of 2015. Both the OP theme song "Hikari no Shards" (Yu Takahashi) and the ED theme song "Mirai" (Kobukuro) are not limited to the category of theme songs for anime, but are also powerful works by popular artists. The ED theme "Mirai" (Kobukuro) and the theme song "Mirai" (Kobukuro) are both powerful works by popular artists that are not limited to the category of theme songs for anime. In particular, the ED theme, "Mirai," has shown a popularity that is so different from the other entries that it is likely to continue to grow until the end of the contest.

Looking at the other top entries, one gets the impression that they are all talented works. Of course, the appeal of the animation work itself is also a factor, but the most popular OP and ED works currently in the top 10 are the popular idol animation "Love Live! Sunshine!which is gaining popularity as a school comedy this season, "There's a Problem in This Art Club! a loose comedy set in the video game industry , the full-length fantasy works "Nejimaki Seirei Senki: Tengagami no Alderamin" and"Arslan Senki: Fuujinranbu ", and the near-future school fantasy "Qualidia Code". In addition to the popularity of these works as anime, the quality of their OPs and EDs is no less than that of any other famous works.

In the fierce competition among such talented artists, a surprising dark horse is "Tomodachi meter" (The Super Ball), the OP theme of "Fukkou na Mononokean," which is in second place in the OP theme section. The song is even more highly regarded than its popularity as a work of art, and it is sure to be a steady winner among the strong contenders for the No. 2 position. In addition, "Twinkle Starlight" (Sasaki Saka), the third place ED theme, is the ED theme of "planetarian: Chiisana Hoshi no Yume," which gained popularity through web distribution this summer. Since this work does not have an OP theme, it is effectively the theme song, but it seems to be gaining support along with the popularity of the work.

The voting period for each of these songs is only about a week away. The ranking of each of these songs is likely to change depending on how you vote, so if you have not yet voted, please do so as soon as possible. Each person may cast up to seven votes. Anyone can participate.
