TV anime "Macross Delta" and singing unit "Valkyrie" held their 2nd live concert at Yokohama Arena!

A live performance by the diva unit "Valkyrie" from the TV anime "Macross Delta" currently being broadcast has been announced.



Macross Delta" is a new animation work of the popular "Macross" series, which is based on transformable robots, songs, and love triangles. Set eight years after the previous work "Macross F" on a planet in a remote part of the universe, it depicts a joint operation and love story between the five aerial knights of the "Kingdom of Wind" and the five divas of the tactical music unit "Valkyrie". General director is Shoji Kawamori, director is Kenji Yasuda, series composition and script are by Toshizo Nemoto, character design is by Chisato Jitsuda (CAPCOM), character design is by Majiro and Yu Shindo, and animation production is by Satellite.

Valkyrie" has been gaining popularity with their firstalbum "Walküre Attack!"released onJuly6,which debuted at No. 2 on the Oricon Weekly Ranking and No. 1 on the Billboard Overall Chart, while their first live Zepp Tour, held from August 14 to September 10, was a huge success with a packed house, The long-awaited 2nd live concert will be held on January 28, 2017 at Yokohama Arena. The venue will be Yokohama Arena, and tickets for the preferential ticket lottery will be included in the"Macross Delta" Blu-ray & DVD Special Limited Edition Volume 3 to be released onSeptember27, and the 2nd album "Walküre Trap!
