KIMPRISM Announces New Movie "KING OF PRISM-PRIDE the HERO"!　Roadshow in Japan from June 2017!

The anime film "KING OF PRISM -PRIDE the HERO-" has been announced.

KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm is a spin-off of the TV anime "Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live," which aired from April 2013 to March 2014, featuring the male unit "Over The Rainbow." On January 9, 2016 Released in 14 theaters nationwide, the film became the talk of the town for its highly addictive content and "Prismstar Cheering Screening," a participatory screening where cheering and penlights are OK, resulting in an unusually long run of more than eight months.

The new anime film "KING OF PRISM -PRIDE the HERO-" was announced at the "KING OF PRISM Over The Rainbow SPECIAL THANKS PARTY!" event held at the Tokyo International Forum on September 11 (Sunday). The film depicts the stars challenging the once-every-four-years stage "Prism King Cup," which was also announced at the end of the previous film, and will be on the road nationwide from June 2017.
In addition to information about the new movie, it was also announced at the event that "Kimpuri" will appear at Anime JAM 2016 and that the web radio will be distributed.

The event started with a cheering screening.
Before the screening, the characters gave special messages only for this cheering screening, giving the cheering screening a special feeling from the beginning.
The fans gathered at the Tokyo International Forum cheering in unison was a sight to behold. An unprecedentedly large number of people participated in the cheering screening all at once, creating a sense of unity that was even greater than in a movie theater, and the screening ended on an emotional note.

The talk show part followed, with Masuda, Maeno, and Kakihara appearing on stage in turn to accompany the video. When the video of the scene where the three members of Obare ride on bicycles, which was so impressive in the film, was shown, the three were standing on stage with their bicycles! The audience was thrilled by this surprising performance.

The audience was very excited by the surprise performance! In the "Cheering Messages" section, the members of Obare sent cheering messages to the fans to thank them for always supporting Kimpuri and to make them smile. The audience cheered in yellow as Kakihara, Maeno, and Masuda responded as characters to the consultations solicited in advance. The most exciting moment was when Masuda said Kazuki's signature line, "Burnin! The audience cheered for him as they watched the cheering screenings. The audience cheered "Burnin! cheered toward the stage, creating a sense of unity among the audience.

The main female characters of Pretty Rhythm also gave messages of support.
Naru Ayase (CV: Emiri Kato), An Fukuhara (CV: Yu Serizawa), Otoha Kotoyu (CV: Saori Goto), Wakana Morizono (CV: Marei Uchida), and Rinne (CV: Ayane Sakura) appeared on the screen. Their conversation suggested that Naru was attending the cheering screenings, and the audience was as excited as if they were cheering screenings.

In the announcement corner, it was announced that KINPRISE would be participating in Anime JAM 2016 ROCK Stage, an annual special event featuring popular TV Tokyo productions. Junta Terashima (Shin Ichijo), Yu Hatanaka (Taiga Kagami), Masashi Igarashi (Minato Takahashi), Takuma Nagatsuka (Leo Saionji), and Shunsuke Takeuchi (Alexander Yamato) will be performing, and we can't wait to hear more.

In addition, a Kimpuri web radio broadcast will also be available! The radio will be broadcast on "Hibiki - HiBiKi Radio Station" (http://hibiki-radio.jp/).

After the announcement corner, "Over The Rainbow: Chest Jumping from the Backstage" was performed by Yuzuru Aoba, who wrote the script for the movie version.In order to make the audience even more squeamish than usual, the prismatic jump at the live performance was called "Asachune, Gummonin Series! to which Hiro's statement was met with surprise not only from the characters but from the audience as well.

Next, Ito Suzuno (CV. Mikako Komatsu) from Pretty Rhythm sent a message to Koji. The audience cheered warmly to Ito's cute response as she shyly sent the message.

As a final greeting, Kakihara said, "Thank you for supporting Kimpuri and Pretty Rhythm for so long. The audience was moved by the video that traced Obare's path from their first encounter in the TV series to their separation in KINPRISM, and at the end of the video, a message was shown saying "KING OF PRISM is going to produce a new KING OF PRISM! KING OF PRISM -PRISM -New Production Decision! KING OF PRISM -PRIDE the HERO- to be released in June 2017 at Shinjuku Wald 9 and other theaters nationwide!

The stage curtain rose and the intro of the song began to flow.
The three members of Obare performed "athletic core," their first song as Obare and the first song to be sung live today, as a token of their gratitude to their fans.
The audience cheered and called and responded in unison to this special surprise performance. During the big chorus of the song, colorful tapes were shot out and danced to the audience, which was a further surprise.

At the end of the event, Kakihara said, "I would like to make the next production even more powerful so that the audience will cheer even louder, so please continue to support us. I would be very happy if you could look back at Pretty Rhythm. I hope you will continue to support us"; and Masuda: "As for Kazuki's feelings, I will be passionate about the new work and will never lose, so please continue to support us".
