TV anime "AKIBA'S TRIP -THE ANIMATION-" to begin airing in January 2017!　Teaser Visual and Staff Information Unveiled!

The TV anime "AKIBA'S TRIP -THE ANIMATION-" will start in January 2017.

This anime work is based on the "AKIBA'S TRIP" action-adventure game series, which depicts young people fighting vampires in Akihabara. The game has a strong fan base, with a total of over 500,000 copies sold. "2," which is currently available on PS4 and other platforms, has attracted attention for its realistic recreation of the streets of Akihabara in the game through a tie-up with over 130 businesses in Akihabara.

The anime adaptation was announced at the DMM booth at the Tokyo Game Show 2016. The staff is directed by Hiroshi Ikehata of "That's a Voice Actor! The animation is produced by GONZO and will be broadcast on TOKYO MX, AT-X, and BS Fuji.

It was also announced that the PC browser/Android version of the game "AKIBA'S TRIP Festa!" will be distributed by DMM GAMES in late November.
