Anime Column] Tokimeki☆Time Trip vol.6 "BLEACH" - A Choice of Many Choice! The 13th Reapers of the Protectorate are fascinating!

I still love it when I see it now!"

Why were they so popular with the ladies?"

There is a reason for everything that is interesting! A female anime writer takes a look back at some nostalgic works that became hits with female anime fans.

In this sixth installment, we look back at "BLEACH" (2004), which has become a hot topic since the original comic book has reached its final episode.

In the August 22, 2016 issue of Weekly Shonen Jump #38, the comic "BLEACH" (by Kubo Taito) reached its final installment, bringing an end to its 15-year serialization. The news of the original's conclusion may have made some of you nostalgic for the anime.

The anime "BLEACH," based on the same comic, ran for seven and a half years, from October 2004 to March 2012, with a total of 366 episodes. In addition, four movie versions have also been produced.

The anime "BLEACH" is cool and stylish, from the OP/ED to the way the subtitles are presented, with an awareness of the taste of the original work, and has received overwhelming support from male and female fans alike. After all, the Shinigami of the 13th Squadron of the Corpse Realm (Soul Society) are cool!

In addition to the wide range of characters, each of whom is sure to be the type of character any woman would like, as their pasts were revealed, one could not help but be touched by the love and shades of sadness that they all have inside them.

If I recall, I missed that one and that one! Here is a look back at the Shinigami who gained popularity, with a particular focus on the popular "Shikonkai Arc".

Ichigo Kurosaki and Koji Asai, two hot, clumsy, and similar characters

When it comes to hot men, the main character Kurosaki Ichigo is the first to be called a hot man.

His orange hair and blunt attitude often make him look like a delinquent at school, but in reality he is a loyal, family-oriented, and kind high school student. The story begins when he takes on the role of acting Shinigami because of his high spiritual power. His zanpakuto is "Zangetsu.

As the name suggests, he fights to "protect" the people he cares about. In the Acting Shinigami Arc, he protects innocent people and souls, in the Corpse Realm Arc, he protects Rukia Kutsuki who is about to be executed, and in the Arunkal Arc, he fights to protect Orihime Inoue who has been taken away. Ichigo's actions always show his tenderness for the weak.

A hot man who is similar in some ways is Abarai Renji, deputy commander of the 6th squadron of the 13th Gōtei. He is a man who is somewhat violent in word and deed, but has a dependable and calm personality, and is trusted by those around him. His zanpakuto is "Zabimaru.

He and Rukia are childhood friends who grew up huddled together in the impoverished Ryukon town. Rukia was adopted by the Kutsuki family, a prominent family, and he sent her away for her happiness.

The childhood friend she thought of is now the daughter of a famous family, and while she is trying to become strong and become a man worthy of her, her childhood friend is in danger of being executed. However, he is in a position where he cannot object to it.

Ichigo rides into the Corporeal Realm to save Rukia, and Koizugu puts all his strength into the battle. He spits out his thoughts in the bloody sunset and cries out to Ichigo, "Save Rukia, ......! he cries out to Ichigo. This is a famous scene that shows off the anime's direction.

Kuchiki Shirouya, a man who embodies coolness and pride.

Ichigo's classmate and Quincy, Uryu Ishida, is also a cool-headed type compared to the hotheaded Ichigo. In battle, he often chides Ichigo or gets angry with him.

However, the coolest character in this work is none other than Kuchiki Byakuya, the leader of the 6th Squadron of the 13th Gōtei. His zanpakuto is "Senbonzakura," or "Thousand Cherry Blossoms.

He is the proud head of the Kutsuki family, the four great noble families, and rarely shows his emotions. At first, he appears to be a cold-hearted man who would not hesitate to execute his sister-in-law, Rukia, if the law dictated.

However, what lurked behind his cold heart was his love for his late wife (Rukia's sister) and the care he felt for Rukia. He may seem callous, but in reality he is a sweet older brother to his sister. When you realize this, even his cold expression that shows no emotion is charming in its clumsiness. It's a wonder that he comes across as somewhat endearing.

When this man appears at a time when Rukia and Ichigo are in danger, it makes me feel like, "Kittaaa! I feel like "KITA!

Do you like small, strong boys? Fuyushiro Hibanya

The captain of the thirteenth squadron of the Gohan Jusentai, Hitsugaya Toshiro, was extremely popular among female fans of this work. His zanpakuto is the Hyorinmaru, which he carries on his back. The second movie "The DiamondDust Rebellion: Another Hyorinmaru" is an episode focusing on Hibanya.

He is a child prodigy who became the youngest captain in history, and his boyish, petite figure is eye-catching. His personality is serious and hardworking, and he is a sensible person who often plays the role of a lucky breaker. He is a good combination with Rangiku Matsumoto, the witty and sexy female vice captain, even though they are complete opposites in personality.

In "Bleach," many characters have love, kindness, and pain in their hearts for the people they are close to, and Hibanya is one of them. He and Momo Hinamori, the deputy commander of the 5th Squadron, have been childhood friends since they were poor and raised as sister and brother. Because of this, he cares for Hinamori, and there is also a side of him that is upset and hates Aizome Souonosuke, who has deeply hurt her body and soul.

She is small and a genius, a child but a hard worker, and her special move with the attribute of ice is truly beautiful. Shiro, you are so cool ......!" He attracts everyone from elementary and junior high school students who think, "Shiro-chan is so cool! That is Hibanya.

For those who like a gruff old man, choose Saraki Kenpachi; for those who like an aloof old man, choose Kyoraku Shunsui.

There is a certain number of women who say, "I like the old man character. They like the austerity, reserve, and dangerous charm that young men do not have. And we have not lost sight of that. In other words, the 13th Gōtei is basically full of old men.

If you are looking for a scary old man with a touch of insanity, you should look no further than Saraki Kenpachi, the 11th leader of the 13th Gōtei. He is a fighting maniac who enjoys fighting strong opponents more than anything else. He is strong because he is simple, and that is why he is so awesome and seamless. He is the only one who does not even know the name of his zanpakuto himself.

His second-in-command, Kusajishi Yachiru, is also a mysterious and fascinating character, an innocent girl who is also very strong. The combination of a crazy man who knows nothing but fighting and a naive (but strong) girl as captain and vice-captain is also indescribably funny.

In stark contrast, the chic, stylish, and always aloof, cheerful old man is Kyoraku Shunsui, captain of the Gohan 13th Squadron's 8th Squadron. His zanpakuto is "katen kyokotsu.

He is always criticized by his earnest vice-captain Ise Nanao for being too careless, but he never blows his head off. Although he may seem too carefree as a captain, he is actually a person who sees the truth from a broad perspective and makes accurate judgments.

He is a close friend of Ukitake Jushiro, the captain of the Thirteenth Squadron to which Rukia belongs. In the Corpse Realm Arc, he sensed that there was a conspiracy behind Rukia's execution, and together with Ukitake, he prevented the execution by destroying the "Bipolar" on the execution table. Friendship between fathers is good, isn't it?

The charm of evil, Aizome Sosuke. And the sorrow of evil, Ichimaru Gin.

An evil person is like a champion who swings at others and goes his own way. And although his thoughts are warped, he is honest about his own desires and has a charisma that attracts people with his out-of-the-box actions.

Such evil shines through in Aizome Sosuke, the leader of the Fifth Squadron of the thirteenth squadron of the Gogei, the last boss from the Corpse Realm Arc to the Breaking Plane Arc. His zanpakuto is "Kyouka Suigetsu.

He is a villain who tries to kill Rukia for his own ambition, after making her think he has a gentle personality. He also considers his own subordinates to be pawns to be discarded for his own ends, and he uses, confuses, stabs through, and discards Momo Hinamori, the second-in-command who respected and loved him. He also has Orihime Inoue abducted in the Breakthrough Arc in order to use her abilities.

He is the root of all evil, but it is strange that his evilness is so refreshing.

On the other hand, Ichimaru Gin, captain of the third squadron of the thirteenth squadron of the Gogei, is a calm, elusive, and yet somehow dryly sorrowful character. His zanpakuto is the "Shinso" (divine spear).

He is expected by Aizome to become his loyal follower, and together they leave the Corpse Realm to fight against Ichigo and his group, but what occupies the corner of his mind is his childhood friend, Rangiku Matsumoto. They are divided into two sides, and though they know they must fight when they meet, Ginn and Rangiku care for each other. We later find out that Ging never revealed his true feelings to anyone, but had something on his mind.

The charm of "Bleach" is the charm of the 13th Squad

In the main story of the anime, the Shinigami are often involved in serious battles, but in the one-off original episodes and the "Shinigami Zukan" and "Shinigami Zukan Golden" mini-components, there are many comical depictions, and it is fun to get a glimpse of the real faces of the unique characters in their daily lives.

The "Breaking Face" episode also featured attractive characters that attracted female fans, such as Ulquiorra Schiffer, who exudes emptiness, and Grimjor Jaggerjack, a fiery rival.

Looking back, however, the charms of the Shinigami were so varied and rich that it could be said that the charm of "Bleach" is the charm of the captains and vice-captains of the thirteenth squadron of the Gohontei.

Whether you have watched the "BLEACH" anime or not, it might be a good idea to play it back again, either from the beginning or just for the episodes of your favorite characters you are interested in.
