TV anime "orange" to be made into a movie and key visual announced!　The "after story" told from Suwa's point of view is newly drawn by the original author!

An anime film adaptation of the TV anime "change" currently being broadcast has been announced.

The anime work "change" is based on the manga series by Ichigo Takano, which was serialized in Monthly Action. It is a sci-fi drama depicting the love and adolescence of high school students who take action to change the future. The live-action movie version released in December 2015 was a blockbuster hit, grossing more than 3 billion yen at the box office. The TV anime is also extremely popular, with the OP theme gaining overwhelming popularity in Anipota's survey.

The film adaptation was announced in an information program during the final episode broadcast on September 25 (Sun.). The title is "orange -Future-," and it will be released in theaters nationwide for a limited two-week period starting on November 18 (Fri.). The story will be told from Suwa's point of view, and it will be an "orange" that no one has seen yet, including new episodes newly drawn by the original author, Ichigo Takano.

I was sad to see the TV anime come to an end, so I am very happy to be able to watch another episode in the movie. The story I drew this time was originally the last episode I had in mind for the first episode of the series, but I wanted to draw it from Suwa's point of view, so I kept it for the last episode. This story is the future that 26-year-old Suwa and his friends could not see, and the future of Naho and her friends who received the letter is a new future for 26-year-old Suwa as well. I thought there was no other choice but to use "Mirai". Please watch "Mirai", which was created by each of us cherishing the people we love. I am looking forward to seeing the movie!

It has already been a year since I came across the film "change" and wrote the song "Mirai". Now, a new branch of the story is about to be born beyond the new "orange". The word "future" was added to the subtitle of the movie, and the work and the music are now strongly connected again. I believe that the main character of "change" is all the characters. The charm of "change" is the sad yet tender world that can be seen from everyone's point of view.
