Autumn Anime "Tiger Mask W" Announces Additional Cast Members & Advance Cut of Episode 1!　Shoro Miura as Tiger Ana wrestler Red Death Mask

Additional cast members have been announced for the TV anime "Tiger Mask W," which will start in October.

Tiger Mask W" is one of Toei Animation's 60th anniversary productions, and is a new TV animation series based on the "Tiger Mask" manga (original story: Kajiwara Ikki/illustration: Tsuji Naoki) that supported the professional wrestling boom of the past. It depicts "New Tiger Mask" Naoto Higashi and "Tiger the Dark" Takuma Fujii fighting to defeat the revived "Tiger Ana". With the full cooperation of New Japan Pro-Wrestling, the appearance of real-life pro-wrestlers is also a highlight of the series.

It was revealed that Shoro Miura will be playing the role of Red Death Mask, a Tiger Ana wrestler. Also, the first episode "Two Tigers," which will air on October 1 (Sat.), has been released with an advance scene cut and synopsis, and a scene featuring New Japan Pro-Wrestler Okada Kazuchika has been unveiled for the first time.

Episode 1 "Two Tigers" Synopsis
It has been more than 40 years since Tiger Mask disappeared. Tiger Mask has secretly resurfaced, using a huge American organization called GWM as a cover, aiming to monopolize the wrestling world. The Tiger Hole's clutches had reached Japan, and one of its wrestlers was forced to retire. To avenge his death, two young men threw themselves into a harsh fate. Naoto Higashi trained under Kentaro Takaoka and became the new Tiger Mask. Takuma Fujii threw himself into the tiger pit and became the new Tiger the Dark. Two tigers are born here. Tiger Mask interrupts a match and encounters Tiger the Dark. Naoto and Takuma, unaware of each other's true identity.
