Sword Art Online the Movie," an anime film, will be released on February 18, 2017!　New information, including a key visual, has been released on the official website.

Sword Art Online the Movie -Ordinal Scale-" has announced that it will be released in theaters on February 18 (Saturday).

Sword Art Online" is an anime work based on the light novel by Reki Kawahara. The first TV anime season aired from July to December 2012 and the second from July to December 2014, and a completely new anime movie "SWORD ART ONLINE THE MOVIE Sword Art Online -Ordinal Scale-" is being produced.

The release date information was announced at a talk event at the Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival 2016 held at Akihabara UDX on Saturday, October 2. The event featured Haruka Tomatsu playing the heroine Asuna, Ayana Taketatsu playing Leafa, Kanae Ito playing Yui, Rina Hidaka playing Silica, and Ayaho Takagaki playing Lizbeth.
