This time, it was revealed that the serialization of "Mobile Suit Gundam TWILIGHT AXIS," the first "Gundam" novel in Yarate Bunko, will begin in October. The story composition and design cooperation is provided by Ark Performance of "Arpeggio of Blue Steel" and "Mobile Suit Gundam MSV-R: The Return of Johnny Raiden," and the author is Kojiro Nakamura, who wrote the TV and theater versions of the anime "Arpeggio of Blue Steel - Ars Nova. ■ Synopsis
A few months have passed since the incident surrounding Laplace's Box = the Charter of the Universe Century in the year 0096, the Earth Federation Forces dispatch a survey mission to the divided Axis, which is drifting outside the Earth's sphere.
Two civilians, Arlette Armage and Danton Hailegg, were also members of the survey team.
They were engineers and test pilots who had served in the Duchy of Zeon and Neo Zeon in the past.
After infiltrating the Axis, the team was attacked in the base, which was supposed to be empty.
Arlette and Danton then encounter events they never imagined...

Arlette Armage
A talented woman who was involved in weapons development for the Principality of Zeon's army during the One Year War. After the Battle of A Baoa Ku, she fled to the Axis. After the Second Neo Zeon War, she participated in a wide range of technological development in the Axis. After the end of the Second Neo Zeon War, she lived with Danton on Side 6, but was invited by the Federation Forces Special Forces to return to the Axis.

Danton Hyleg
A young man who was a test pilot for the Principality of Zeon during the One Year War. He was on a data acquisition mission on the battlefield. After the war, he returned to the Earth sphere via the Axis with Arlette. After the Axis Shock, he and Arlette lived a life of seclusion, but once again he came face to face with his past in the Axis.

Zaku III Kai
A MS developed by the Axis during the Haman War (the First Neo Zeon War), and a descendant of the MS-06 Zaku, this heavily armored and equipped with built-in weapons and high-mobility options is a commander's machine. It appears in a never-before-seen "red" color scheme.
