TV anime "Overlord" to be produced as a full-length movie version!　Visuals drawn by so-bin, the original character designer, have been unveiled.

An anime film adaptation of the TV anime "Overlord" has been announced.

Overlord," which has been on air since July 2015, is a TV anime based on a popular fantasy novel by Kugane Maruyama, whose series has sold over 3 million copies. The dark fantasy story is set in "Yggdrasil," an interactive online game that had a huge boom but was to end its service, and depicts a lonely, dull young man who loves games in the real world as a powerful wizard in skeletal form who leads his own guild.

The production of the film version has been announced, and a teaser visual drawn by so-bin, the original character designer, has been released. The release date and other details will be announced later.
