Autumn Anime "TRICKSTER - from Edogawa Rampo's "Shonen Tanteidan" - OVA to be released on December 22!　Spin-off depicting episodes from the past

The release of an OVA from the TV anime "TRICKSTER - from Edogawa Rampo's "Shonen Tanteidan"" has been announced.

TRICKSTER" is an original anime based on Edogawa Rampo's novel "Detective Boys" and set in the near future. Set in Tokyo in the year 203X, the story depicts the encounter between Kobayashi and Hanazaki, and the fate of the mysterious detective Akechi Kogoro and the criminal of the century, the Twenty-Faced Phantom.

It was revealed that an OVA will be released on December 22. The title is "EPISODE 00 (Episode Double Zero )," and it will include two episodes, "The Fruit of the Smoke" depicting the past of Akechi and the Twenty Faces of the Monster, and "Mawaru Emotion" depicting the Detective Boys before Hanazaki met Kobayashi. The Blu-ray is priced at 7,000 yen plus tax. The price is 7,000 yen plus tax.
