Autumn anime "Arcane Boat" reveals new key visual! Anime Start Guide, where you can try out the comic book by Haruko Kumoda, is also distributed!

A new key visual for the TV anime "Arcane Boat," which will start in October, has been released.

The anime "Arcane Boat" is based on the 2012 Honya Taisho award-winning novel by Naoki Prize-winning author Shion Miura. Set in a dictionary editing department, it is a human drama depicting the passion and love of editors who challenge the sea of words. The story depicts the depth of the work of compiling dictionaries, and the tasteful characters are the main attractions. The original character design is by Haruko Kumoda, author of "Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju," directed by Toshimasa Kuroyanagi, series composition by Takuya Sato, director of "Shojo-tachi ga Wilano wo Tsumoru," character design by Hiroyuki Aoyama, and production by ZEXCS.

A new visual featuring all the main characters has been released. It was also revealed that the free booklet "Anime Start Guide" is available at bookstores nationwide, and some bookstores have begun distributing the booklet. The Anime Start Guide includes the first 18 pages of the first episode of the comic adaptation (published in I Kodansha/ITAN) by Haruko Kumoda, the illustrator of the original "Arrange a Boat" story, as well as an interview with the original author and other contents to enjoy "Arrange a Boat".
