Anime film "In a Corner of the World" reveals jacket illustration of the original soundtrack! To be released on November 9

The jacket illustration of the original soundtrack from the anime film "In a Corner of the World," which will be released on November 12, has been revealed.



Katasumi no Sekai no Katasumi ni" is an animated feature film based on the manga series by Fumiyo Kono, serialized in Manga Action (published by Futabasha). The film depicts the lives of people who lived as they should have during the war, featuring Suzu, a girl who married at the age of 18 in Kure, Hiroshima Prefecture, in the 1940s and 1945s. The film is directed by Sunao Katabuchi, director of "Mai Mai Shinko and the Magic of a Thousand Years," who spent six years meticulously researching Kure during and after World War II and examining the period.

The jacket illustration for the soundtrack has now been unveiled. The illustration was drawn by Chie Uratani, assistant director of the film, and depicts Suzu and the members of the Hojo family, whom she married, in a happy mood.

The soundtrack will include 33 songs, including the opening song "Sad and Unfulfilled," covered and newly rearranged by Kotoringo, who was in charge of music for the film, as well as the theme song "Migitigi-no-uta" and the ending theme "Tanpopo," both written especially for the film. 2,900 yen plus tax.
