Popular manga "Higanjima" to be adapted into a short anime!　Directed and written by Ryosuke Aoike of "Kami-Usagi Rope" and cast by Toshi Hayami!

It has been announced that the manga "Higanjima" will be adapted into a short anime.

Higanjima" is a popular manga serialized in "Young Magazine" (Kodansha) by Kouji Matsumoto. The live-action movie "Higanjima Deluxe" is scheduled to be released on October 15, 2016.

It was announced that the first episode of the short anime "Higanjima X" will be distributed in advance on Youtube & Nico Nico Douga from October 15. It is produced by Tetra, which created the VFX for the live-action movie, produced and series composed by Mitsudai Taniguchi, who was the art director of the movie, and directed and written by Ryosuke Aoike, the second director of "Ropé Kami-Usagi". The anime will consist of 12 complete episodes, arranged from popular episodes of the original work, and will be distributed irregularly from October 15 onward.

It was also announced that one voice actor will play all the characters in the episodes, and that Tadashi Hayami will be the voice actor for the first three episodes.
