The 34UC79G-B is a gaming monitor with a 34-inch curved IPS LCD panel with an aspect ratio of 21:9 and a resolution of 2,560 x 1,080 pixels.

It is the world's first IPS-type ultrawide LCD to support 144Hz drive, enabling smooth video and game display. It is the first IPS-type ultrawide LCD in the world to support 144Hz drive. In addition, it also features "FreeSync" to reduce tearing and stuttering, "Dynamic Action Sync" to reduce display delay by displaying images directly without going through a scaler chip, and the new "1ms Motion Blur Reduction," a new function that reduces afterimages by inserting blacks between frames.


Also available are "Black Stabilizer," which enhances visibility by lifting the dark areas of dark scenes, and "Closshair," which constantly displays a crosshair in the center of the screen as a function for gaming.
