Animated film "Slaughterhouse Organ" to be screened at TIFF Special Program [TIFF Ani! the first 15 minutes of the film will be screened at TIFF Ani! The special feature film will be shown today!

Event information has been released from the anime film "Slaughter Organ" scheduled for release this winter.



This work is one of the three works in the "Project Itoh" series of theatrical anime adaptations of "Slaughter Organ" and "Harmony," original full-length novels by Keisuke Ito, who died prematurely in 2009 at the age of 34, and "Empire of the Corpse," a 30-page preface written and completed by his close friend, Akutagawa Prize-winning author Tou Enjou, who is known for his friendship with the novelist. The production was suspended and the release postponed due to the bankruptcy of Mangrove at the end of September 2015, but a new studio, Geno Studio, established by Koji Yamamoto, the chief producer of the film, has since taken over the production of the film.
"Slaughterhouse Organ", a noitaminA film, continues production, aiming for completion by the end of 2016! Staff reunited at "Geno Studio" established by Koji Yamamoto.

The first 15 minutes of the film will be screened at the TIFF special event "TIFF Ani! a special program of the Tokyo International Film Festival to be held on October 31 (TIFF Ani!).
