Details of the CD single containing the opening theme "Ashitanotsubasa" from the currently airing TV anime "Brave Witches" have been announced.

Brave Witches" is the latest work of the popular "Strike Witches" series, which has been produced as an OVA, TV anime, and theater version, and is a story between the first (2008) and second (2010) seasons of the TV anime "Strike Witches". It depicts the activities of "Brave Witches" of the 502nd Joint Combat Air Wing.

Details of the CD single of the opening theme song "Ashita no Tsubasa" sung by Yoyoko Ishida have been announced, and in addition to the title song "Ashita no Tsubasa", the CD will include the coupling song "Soranoiro" with lyrics written by Ms. Ishida, and the jacket photo has also been revealed. The CD single "Ashitanotsubasa" will be released on November 16, 2012, priced at 1,800 yen plus tax for the limited edition with DVD and 1,200 yen plus tax for the regular edition.

In addition, a release commemorative event for CD purchasers only will be held on December 11. In addition to Yoyoko Ishida, cast members including Ai Kakuma, Rie Suekara, Maruzu Mizutani, Natsumi Takamori, Hiromi Igarashi, Kayo Ishida, and Rina Sato are scheduled to appear on stage.
