GANTZ:O" is a full 3DCG theatrical anime adaptation of the popular "Osaka Arc" from the hit science fiction action comic "GANTZ" by Hiroya Oku. The film depicts the story of the GANTZ team from Tokyo and Osaka, led by Masaru Kato, as they take on the battle against the "Yokai Gundan" in a world where the main character of "GANTZ," Kei Genno, has died. General director is Keiichi Sato of "TIGER & BUNNY," directed by Yasushi Kawamura, script by Tsutomu Kuroiwa, and produced by Digital Frontier.

The scenery of Osaka that I've seen before is recreated as if it were a live-action version, and it's a party that destroys everything with the same unprecedented gaiety as the original work. Also, for some reason, it reminded me of the Kadokawa anime Gensho Taisen. The human meat dumpling aliens!
