TV anime "Tiger Mask W" features Tomoaki Honma and Tomohiro Ishii of New Japan Pro-Wrestling!　Episode 5 synopsis and advance scene cuts also revealed!

Details of the latest episode and additional character information have been released from the TV anime "Tiger Mask W" currently airing on TV.

Tiger Mask W" is one of Toei Animation's 60th anniversary productions, and is a new TV animation series based on the "Tiger Mask" manga (original story: Kajiwara Ikki/illustration: Tsuji Naoki) that supported the pro wrestling boom of the past. It depicts "New Tiger Mask" Naoto Higashi and "Tiger the Dark" Takuma Fujii fighting to defeat the revived "Tiger Ana". With the full cooperation of New Japan Pro-Wrestling, the appearance of real-life pro-wrestlers is also a highlight of the series.

The following is an advance scene cut and synopsis from episode 5, "The Mystery of the Fukurawara Mask," which will air on October 29.
It was also revealed that Tomoaki Honma & Tomohiro Ishii of New Japan Pro-Wrestling will appear in episode 5. Mr. Homma and Mr. Ishii will be played by Masaya Takatsuka and Kenji Nomura, respectively. Other unique wrestlers and cast members were also announced, including local wrestler Fukuwara Mask (CV: Kozo Shioya), Boss Man (CV: Kozo Shioya), Bull (CV: Junya Enoki) and Dog (CV: Kota Nemoto).

<Synopsis.

Episode 5 "The Mystery of the Fukyuwara Mask

Naoto (CV. Taku Yashiro) participates in a New Japan Pro-Wrestling series for the first time as Tiger Mask in order to gain real combat experience. There he meets a local wrestler, Fukurawara Mask (CV. Kozo Shioya). His comical wrestling style was the opposite of Tiger's. Tiger Mask gets involved with Fukuwara Mask in a battle royal. However, Fukyuwara Mask was not just a comedy wrestler... At the same time, Takuma (CV. Yuichiro Umehara) was making his way up in the U.S. GWM as Tiger the Dark, under the severe attack of senior wrestlers.

Tomoaki Honma CV: Masaya Takatsuka
Tomoaki Honma is a kokeshi fighter for New Japan Pro-Wrestling. He is a hot competitor, but he also has a cool head.

Tomoaki Honma has a distinctive voice, so I was very confused at first. I thought about it a lot, but I was very conscious of saying, "This is my voice as best as I can," rather than making it difficult to speak! I was very conscious that I was not trying to make it difficult to speak, but to make it sound as good as I could.

Tomohiro Ishii CV: Kenji Nomura
Tomohiro Ishii is a bull fighter for New Japan Pro-Wrestling. He participates in a battle royal with Tiger Mask.

When I decided to play Tomohiro Ishii, I was conscious of his physique and the voice coming from his face. I took the liberty of deciding that Mr. Ishii was a hard man from the lines he commented on and created the role in my own way! If I had more lines, I think I could have established the character! (Laughs).

Fukuhara Mask (CV: Kozo Shioya)
A freelance masked man. He is loved by fans as a comical wrestler, and he also has wrestling ability.

Bossman (CV: Kenji Hamada)
A GWM member from Tiger's Hole. He is jealous of Tiger the Dark's ability and success.

Bull & Dog (CV: Junya Enoki (Bull) / Kota Nemoto (Dog))
A GWM player who is not from Tiger's Hole. He teams up with Bossman in a battle royal against Tiger the Dark.
