Nowadays, we have many opportunities to see a lot of old works through TV, but the images that flow through older works that have not been remastered are so coarse that it is difficult to concentrate on watching them. In such a situation, by remastering "Crusher Joe" as well, the picture can be seen more beautifully than it was at the time, allowing us to properly enter and enjoy the world. The roughness of the picture is gone and there is no obstacle to concentration, so it is important to be able to see the entire world of the work as it is. I am glad that people can enjoy "Crusher Joe" as it is in its current state, in the best possible environment.

When I was working on "Crusher Joe," I encouraged myself to "have fun, have fun," and I looked at the faces of the staff and said, "Are you having fun? I was looking at the faces of the staff and saying to myself, "Are you having fun? After the release of the film, I tried to look at the faces of the audience at the greetings at the theater and ask them if they were enjoying the film. After the film's release, I would look at the faces of the audience at the theater greetings and ask them if they were enjoying the film. In many ways, it was all about "Are they having fun? In many ways, this film is all about "Are you having fun?" So I hope that the remastering of the film will allow viewers to enjoy it while reminiscing about the old days.
