J3455M-E, a fanless Apollo Lake-based microATX mother from ASUS!

ASUS has released the J3455M-E, a fanless microATX motherboard featuringthe 10W TDP power-saving SoCApollo Lake.




The new SoC"Apollo Lake" fromIntel isthe successor to the company's power-saving SoC " Braswell" and supports DDR4 memory in addition to DDR3 memory, as well as a GPU with a "Braswell" GPU. It is equipped with the Intel HD Graphics 500 series, which is said to be 30% more powerful than Braswell , and supports 4K output (4,096 x 2,016 dots @ 60Hz) when connected via HDMI 2.0.

The J3455M-E released this time supports DDR3 memory only; DDR4 memory is not supported.


Main specifications include one PCIe x16 slot (x1 mode), two PCI Express 2.0 slots , and two DDR3 DIMMs (up to 16GB) of memory. Other features include Gigabit LAN, SATA 3.0 x2, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, PS/2, parallel, 8-channel sound, HDMI, and VGA.
