Announcing the interim results of AniPota's "2016 Autumn Anime Power Popularity Poll"!　Brave Witches," "Girlish Number," and "ViVid Strike!

Akiba Research Institute's anime portal "Anipota" is currently holding an official poll project "You gotta see this! 　The users can vote for the anime that they think is "interesting" after watching the first 4 episodes of the 2016 fall anime that started in October. The purpose of the poll is to gauge the strength of this season's anime by asking users to vote for the works they thought were "interesting" after watching the first four episodes of the 2016 fall anime that started in October. The deadline is next Sunday, November 13, but here is an interim announcement.

The top 10 works as of October 4, 2016 are as follows.

Currently, the three works from No. 1 to No. 3 are in a fierce dead heat with only a few votes separating them.

Currently in first place is "Brave Witches," which is a sequel to the beautiful girl military anime series "Strike Witches. In addition to the popularity of the series, the detailed drawings and the thrilling storyline in the early stages of the series are thought to have contributed to its popularity.

Following it by only four votes was "Girlish Number," a unique work depicting the world of anime voice actors. The other work depicting the world of voice actors is the well-received 2015 summer anime "Sore wo Seiyu! which was well received as a 2015 summer anime, but this work is completely different. The main character, Chitose Karasuma, has a very strong tongue-in-cheek character, and the behind-the-scenes story of the anime industry makes it quite interesting and well-received. It seems to be the dark horse of this season.

Coming in third place, one vote behind, is the bishojo fighting series "ViVid Strike! This work is related to the popular "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha" anime series, and its popularity is probably due to the fact that it features characters from the same series, and also because it has a splendid lineup of female voice actors, including Minase Inori, Ogura Yui, Mizuhashi Kaori, Noto Mamiko, Uesaka Sumire, and Kitamura Eri.

The three works listed above are currently competing fiercely for the top spot, but of course there is still much more to be said! Euphonium 2," "Isetta of the End," "Natsume's Book of Friends," "WWW.WORKING! WORKING!" , "March Comes in Like a Lion", and "Knitting a Boat ", all of which received stable rankings.

Somewhat surprisingly, the figure skating-themed anime "Yuri! on ICE," a figure skating-themed anime that came in at No. 7. It did not attract much attention based on previous reviews, and was not ranked high in the " 2016 Fall Anime Expectation Ranking" held earlier in the year.　in the "2016 Fall Anime Expectations Popularity Poll," it started at the bottom of the list at No. 34. However, it is rapidly gaining popularity due to its realistic depiction of figure skating scenes, overall good drawings, attractive characters, and good tempo.
