Comments
Mitsuki Takahata (playing the role of Kokone Morikawa)
I was born in Osaka, so it was very difficult for me to speak in Okayama dialect.
The character I play, Kokone, is a tough girl with a refreshing personality. She is a very charming character, including her occasional moments of weakness. There is a character named Hearts in the film, and I was thrilled to see a robot move when I gave it a command. This film is a family story. I think this is a movie that the whole family can enjoy because it is a fast-paced film centered around Kokone-chan, who has "forward momentum".
Shinnosuke Mitsushima (Morio)
I played the role of Morio, a pure young man who is pulled along by Kokone, the main character, but protects her with all his strength. This is my first time working with Mr. Takahata, and he is wonderful. He boldly takes on many challenges, and he makes the most of each one. It is a work filled with everything that Director Kamiyama has to offer, and the "Kamiyama World" is in full bloom. I was so happy to be able to participate that I jumped up and down. Please look forward to the completion of the film!
Arata Furuta (Watanabe)
I have done voice-over work many times, but each time I have really enjoyed it, and I had a great time participating this time as well. I believe that acting is about how much you can lie, and in that sense, voice work is a big lie because you can't even see the actor. I enjoy the fact that I can become anything I want depending on the animation picture.
Tomoya Maeno (as Kida)
I don't get many opportunities to do voice acting, so first of all, it was a lot of fun. Since the age of the character was set higher than myself, I kept my voice a little lower so that I could fit in. The main character, Kokone-chan, is very cute. And since it is set in Okayama, my hometown, please come to the theater to see the lovely scenery and the adorable Kokone-chan!
Hideki Takahashi (playing Isshin Shijima)
Animation is a genre that I personally like because it allows me to take shots that are impossible in live-action, which is something I've always wanted to do. The director also has a daughter, so I talked with him about his daughter's story and sympathized with the character as I played the role. The man I played, Shijima, is a "Japanese boy" of a generation ago, just like my father. When I think about it, the distance between parent and child is closer today. I have a daughter myself, and I think it is nice to have a parent-child story.
Yosuke Eguchi (Morikawa Momotaro)
It was my first time to do postrecording, so I found it difficult to take the pauses between lines and to use the Okayama dialect,
It was difficult to understand the Okayama dialect, but I got used to it in the second half and I think I learned how to enjoy the pressure in my voice when I vocalized.
It is a fantasy that depicts a near-future world of automatic driving and the Olympics,
As Kokone's father, I played the role while objectively feeling the relationship between daughter and father.
I would like girls to see this movie.
