Box-office revenue of the animated film "聲の形" exceeds 2.1 billion yen!　New screening theaters are being added sequentially from late October!

It was announced that the box-office revenue of the animation film "聲の形" (聲の形), currently being screened, has surpassed 2.1 billion yen.

The Shape of Voices" is a theatrical anime based on the manga series by Ryotoki Ohimah, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine from 2013 to 2014. The original work won the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Award Shinsei Prize, the Comic Natalie Award, and the No. 1 prize in the Otoko section of the 2015 "This Manga is Amazing! Directed by Naoko Yamada of "K-ON! directed by Naoko Yamada of "K-ON!", script by Reiko Yoshida of "Girls und Panzer", character design by Taishi Nishiya of "Free!", and produced by Kyoto Animation.

The film has been announced to have attracted an audience of 1.6 million and box-office revenue of 2.1 billion yen as of November 6 (Sun.). In addition, the film will be shown in new theaters starting in late October.
