Winter anime "Eldrive" announces theme song artist!　Preliminary screening with the main cast will be held on December 11.

The theme song artist has been announced for the TV anime "El Drive [ēlDLIVE]," which will start in January 2017.

Elle Drive [ēlDLIVE]" is an anime work based on the manga by Akira Amano, known for "Tutor Hitman Reborn! The story is about the main character, Kuunose Chūta, who has been treated as an oddball by those around him because he can hear strange voices, and is recruited by the space police, L-Drive, to take on the challenges of the unknown. Animation production is by studio Piero.

The opening theme will be performed by the female singer "+α/Arufakun," whose videos on video sharing sites have received more than 15 million views. The ending theme will be performed by "The Super Ball," a two-member male unit that debuted in July of this year and performed a solo live at Akasaka BLITZ in August. It was also announced that an advance screening of the first episode of the anime will be held on December 11. The event will feature Ayumi Murase playing the role of Chūta Kunose, Saori Hayami playing the role of Misuzu Kogata, Tatsuo Suzuki playing the role of Rain Brick, and Rie Kugimiya playing the role of Dru.

The Super Ball
I wrote this song thinking that Dru's voice, which can only be heard by Chūta, could be "the advice of an irreplaceable partner" or "a question to ask yourself when you are lost or feeling weak" for us. I am beyond overwhelmed with emotion to be able to participate in a work by Akira Amano, who I have loved since I was in elementary school!
I can't stop being excited to see how the full-color original story of "Elle Drive [ēlDLIVE]" will be enhanced in the anime, and how our song will mix with it!
The two members are eagerly awaiting the first episode! We can't wait to see it!
