AVerMedia "Live Gamer Portable 2" HDMI capture unit with 1080p/60fps support now on sale

The Live Gamer Portable 2 (model number: AVT-C878), a 1080p/60fps HDMI capture unit, is now available from AVerMedia.




The Live Gamer Portable 2 is a hardware-encoded HDMI capture unit that supports 1080p/60fps recording and live streaming.

In addition to PC mode, Live Gamer Portable 2 has a stand-alone recording mode that allows users to record video using the capture unit alone. In "stand-alone recording mode," recorded files are saved to a microSD card (sold separately), and the unit does not support the display, recording, or distribution of video containing HDCP signals.

The main specifications are as follows: the main unit measures 146.8x 57 x 46.5 cm and weighs approximately 185.5 g. Maximum input resolution is1080p/60 fps, maximum recording resolution is 1080p/60 fps, and input terminals are HDMI and terminals for headset (4-pole) and party chat (4-pole). Output terminals (pass-through) are HDMI, terminal for headset (4-pole). Included as an accessory is RECentral 3, dedicated software for video streaming services such as Nico Nico Live, Twitch, YouTube Live, and Hitbox.
