TV anime "Tiger Mask W", episode 7 "Naoto and Naoto" synopsis and advance cuts! New Japan Pro-Wrestling's YOSHI-HASHI appears!

The synopsis of the 7th episode of the TV anime "Tiger Mask W" has arrived, along with some scenes from the previous episodes.

Tiger Mask W" is one of Toei Animation's 60th anniversary productions, and is a new TV animation series based on the "Tiger Mask" manga (original story: Kajiwara Ikki/illustration: Tsuji Naoki) that supported the professional wrestling boom in the past. It depicts "New Tiger Mask" Naoto Higashi and "Tiger the Dark" Takuma Fujii fighting to defeat the revived "Tiger Ana". With the full cooperation of New Japan Pro-Wrestling, the appearance of real-life pro-wrestlers is also a highlight of the series.

The following is an advance scene cut and synopsis from episode 7, "Naoto and Naoto," which will air on November 12 (Sat.). The episode also introduces the character of YOSHI-HASHI, a professional wrestler from New Japan Pro-Wrestling, who makes his first appearance in the series, as well as a comment from Hiroshi Okamoto, who plays YOSHI-HASHI in the series.

Tiger Mask (CV. Taku Yashiro) goes to Okinawa on a New Japan Pro-Wrestling tour and is interviewed by pro-wrestling reporter Raima (CV. Izumi Tachibanada). There, he is told the story of the first Tiger Mask, Naoto Date, another tiger who existed half a century ago and became a hero to children after betraying the heel wrestler training institute, Tora no Ana.

YOSHI-HASHI (CV: Hiroshi Okamoto) is a heel wrestler in New Japan Pro-Wrestling. He is a member of the wrestling unit "CHAOS," led by Okada Kazuchika.

By participating in the postrecording this time, I thought that in a sense my childhood dream had come true. When I was in elementary school, my dream for the future was to become a professional wrestler.
Thinking about it now, I would say it was a reckless or innocent dream. ...... At that time, I used to watch wrestling live in the evening, and I was crazy about it. Among them, Tiger Mask was extremely popular, and even at school, my friends and I would talk about the fights and imitate the techniques. The fight scenes were the best part of the movie. The fight scenes are powerful and fast, and I was very conscious of my breath and the tension in my voice during the action scenes so that I could bring out the power of YOSHI-HASHI.
