Anipota starts the official voting project "2016 Fall Anime OP Theme Popularity Poll"!

Akiba Research Institute's anime portal "Anipota" started an official voting project "2016 Fall Anime OP Theme Popularity Poll" today, November 11 (Fri.). The deadline for voting is December 4 (Sun.). Voting is limited to 7 votes per person.

As is customary in this voting project for anime program OP themes, there is a wide variety of music for this season's 2016 fall anime, and a close battle is expected to ensue.

The current favorite is "Huri! on ICE" OP "History Maker" sung by Dean Fujioka, a popular handsome actor, and "March Lion" OP "Answer" sung by BUMP OF CHICKEN, also a popular rock band. Both songs are by popular actors and artists, and both are highly acclaimed anime works, so the synergistic effect is expected to be very popular.

Other popular songs include "RAGE OF DUST" by SPYAIR, the OP song of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphens (2nd Season)," "Hibike! Euphonium 2" OP song, TRUE "Sound Scape", "Magical Girl Raising Project" OP song, Aimi Numakura "Shout", "HIQUE! Karasuno High School vs. Shiratorizawa Gakuen High School" OP song, BURNOUT SYNDROMES "Hikariare", "Shakunetsu no Takkyu Musume" OP song, Jakugahara Junior High School Table Tennis Club "Shakunetsu Switch", "Doomsday no Izetta" OP song, AKINO with bless4 "cross the line" are the leading candidates. Riding on the popularity of anime works, the OP songs of "Girlish Number", "Bloom", and "ViVid Strike!", "Future Strike" by Yui Ogura, could grow in popularity.
