ASUS has released the STRIX-GTX1060-DC2O6G, a quasi-fanless GeForceGTX 1060 video card with a short 22 cm card length.

The STRIX-GTX1060-DC2O6G is an OC-spec GeForceGTX 1060 video card that belongs to the company's gaming-oriented STRIX series.

The cooling mechanism uses two 8mm-diameter heat pipes that are directly attached to the GPU, a "Wing Blade Zero Noise Fan" that increases air pressure by bending the tips of the fan blades, and DirectCU II, which consists of large heat dissipating fins with a surface area approximately 2.8 times larger than the GPU. In addition, the "Zero Noise Fan" function automatically stops fan rotation when the GPU is at low temperatures.

The main specifications includean operating clock of 1,569 MHz at base/1 ,785 MHz at boost (increased to 1,595 MHz at base/1, 811 MHz at boost with the included software). Memory is 6GB of GDDR5 at 8,008 MHz,PCI Express 3.0 x16, 2 DisplayPort, 2 HDMI, and1 DVI-Doutputs, and 1 6-pin auxiliary power connector.
