The TV anime "Girlish Number" has released a synopsis and advance cut of episode 7.

Garish Number" is a media mix work by Wataru Wataru and QP:flapper. It is a story about a college student, Chitose Karasuma, who has a cute appearance and a lickspittle mentality, and her struggles in the voice acting industry as she faces the harsh reality of the industry. Original story and series composition by Mr. Watanabe, character design by QP:flapper, directed by Shota Ihata, Animation Director of "End Story", character design by Sumie Kinoshita of "Dantarian's Bookcase", and animation production by Dio Media.

Chitose and Momoka take a drunken Manyo home, where they meet Manyo's mother, who has come to Tokyo from Yamagata. She had seen the bonus footage of Man'yo in her swimsuit and came to visit her, worried. The next day, Manyo's mother also shows up at the site of the program where the main cast of the film, including Chitose, are all present. After a rehearsal, the show started with an indescribable atmosphere. A listener's contribution to the program makes Manyo say something she did not expect. Seeing this, Manyo's mother feels something.
