The original TV anime "Love Rice - WE LOVE RICE-" is set at Inaho Academy, a school of grain production, in a time when bread has replaced bread as the most popular food on the table due to the westernization of food. This is a heartwarming "rice" work with a lot of laughter and bloodshed.

Event Report
On November 20, Tochiani! Special Stage, Mark Ishii, who plays the lead role of Hinohikari, Chiharu Sawashiro, who plays Sanishiki, and producer Fukuhara took the stage.

The producers quizzed the two voice actors, who were kept in the dark as to which character they would be playing.
Sawashiro Chiharu, who plays Sasashiki, gave the correct answer, but Ishii Mark, who plays Hinohikari, could not figure it out until the end, and was teased by Sawashiro.

Finally, as is typical for a rice anime, Ishii said, "All you fans in Tochigi, you are all grains! You're all so grainy!" Sawashiro said, "I don't take rice lightly in a place like this.
