Atom the Beginning" is a manga serialized in "Heroes Monthly" that depicts the birth of Osamu Tezuka's eternal hero "Astro Boy". The latest volume 4 will be released on December 5, 2016 (price: 560 yen + tax): 560 yen + tax).

It was announced that "Atom the Beginning" will be broadcast as an anime on NHK General TV from spring 2017. In addition, a teaser PV has been released on the official website ( # ).

The staff has also been announced, with Katsuyuki Motohiro of "Odoru Daisousasen" and "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass" as general director, Tatsuo Sato of "Moretsu Uchu Kaizoku" as director, and Junichi Fujisaki of "BLOOD+" as series composition.
