Overlord," which has been on air since July 2015, is a TV animation based on the popular fantasy novel by Kugane Maruyama, which has sold more than 3 million copies. Set in the online game "Yggdrasil," which had a huge boom but was about to end its service, this dark fantasy depicts a lonely, dull young man who loves games in the real world as a powerful wizard in the form of a skeleton, leading his own guild and playing an active role.

It has been announced that the film version will be a compilation of the TV anime and will be shown in two parts, the first part "Overlord the Movie" and the second part "Overlord the Movie". The first part, "The Movie Compilation: Overlord, King of the Immortals," will be shown on February 25, 2017, and the second part, "The Movie Compilation: Overlord, The Jet-Black Hero," on March 11, 2017. In addition, a key visual of "King of the Immortals" drawn by so-bin, the character designer, has been released.

The first set of postcards featuring the teaser visual and anime background artwork drawn by so-bin will be available at theaters nationwide from December 3. The price will be 1,500 yen (tax included).
