A TV anime adaptation of the novel "Sakurada Reset" has been announced.

Sakurada Reset" is the debut novel (Kadokawa Bunko/Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko) by Yutaka Kono, known for his "Staircase Island" series. Set in "Sakurada," a town where people with abilities gather, the story is a "coming-of-age science fiction story" about a high school student, Kei Asai, who has the ability to "retain memories" and never forget what she has seen and heard, and a girl, Misora Harusaki, who has the ability to "reset" the world to three days, who join forces to travel back in time. The story is a "coming-of-age science fiction story" in which these two girls join forces to travel through time. The original novel is currently being published by Kadokawa Bunko for seven consecutive months, and a two-part live-action movie is scheduled to be released in spring 2017.

It has been announced that a TV anime of the work will start in spring 2017. In addition, the official website ( # ) has been opened, and a teaser visual and staff information have been released.
The director is Shinya Kawamatsu of "Carefree" and "Tanakakukun ha Itsumo Kedaruge," the series composition is by Katsuhiko Takayama of "ef - a tale of memories," the character design is by Katsuhiko Takayama of "Bakuman. This work is a surprisingly complex story, and I thought it would be necessary to make some kind of breakthrough in order to visualize it. I was asked at the anime meeting, "Do you want to make the suspenseful part of the story the main part of the story? Or do you want to focus on the part where high school students are talking about something philosophical?" I asked the question. I thought that if I didn't focus on one or the other, it wouldn't work.
I thought that it would not work unless I focused on one or the other. The answer I received from Director Kawamen was, "When I make it, whatever it is, the atmosphere will not be destroyed. As the author of the original work, these words were the most reassuring words I have ever heard. I then fully trusted Director Kawamen and read the script. I am really looking forward to the broadcast.

I hope to express the transparent emotions of the characters who are enduring some kind of pain in the film, even if only a little.

The original story is a tale of love, justice, and kindness, structured with very precise logic. It is a work that makes you love the characters, all of whom are trying their best to live their lives. When I wrote the last episode of the script, I was sad to say goodbye to this world. But soon, I am looking forward to reuniting with the world of Sakuradariset once again, this time as a viewer.
