Tokiwa Museen, a long-established game store in front of Akihabara Station thathad been undergoing renovation, reopened for business on Wednesday, November 23. However, only the beverage area (with three beverage vending machines and a surveillance camera), which has been expanded near the entrance of the store, is open for business.




Tokiwa Museen is located about 10 seconds to the left of the Akihabara Electric Town Exit ticket gate, and is "the nearest and smallest game specialty store to the station in Akihabara," having been in business for 63 years.

According to the POP posted in the storefront, "Due to delivery schedule issues, we have not completed the preparation of the merchandising fixtures, etc. We have reopened for business on November 23, but only in the beverage area. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we will resume sales of merchandise as soon as the fixtures are installed. Thank you for your cooperation. The date and time of the reopening of the merchandise sales area will be announced later.
