Broadcast information for the anime "Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju - Sukeroku Again Arc-", which will start in January 2017, has been released.

Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju" is a manga serialized in "ITAN" (Kodansha) by Haruko Unda. The story centers on Yorakutei Yakumo, a lone rakugo storyteller known as "the last master of the Showa era," and Yotaro, who fell in love with his rakugo and became his apprentice.

In January 2017, it was announced that the second season "Sukeroku Again Arc", which depicts Yotaro, who became a professional actor and took over the name of "Sukeroku", would be adapted into a movie.
