TV anime "Arikiten Kazoku" unveils newly-drawn illustrations for BD-BOX!　Event to pray for the success of the second season will be held at Shimogamo Jinja Shrine in January 2017.

A new illustration for the Blu-ray box set of the TV anime "Arikuten Kazoku" has been released.

The TV anime "Arikuten Kazoku" is based on the novel by Tomihiko Morimi, who is well-known for "Shijohan Shinwa Taikei", and is a comedy drama set in Kyoto, where raccoon dogs, tengu, and humans get mixed up. It was highly acclaimed in various fields, including winning the Excellence Award in the Animation Division of the 17th Japan Media Arts Festival.
Production of the second season, "Arikuten Kazoku 2" was also announced at the Kyoto International Manga/Anime Fair on September 18, 2016.

The newly-drawn box illustration of "Arikoten Kazoku Blu-ray BOX" containing all 13 episodes of the first season has been revealed. In addition, on Thursday, January 12, 2017, the event "Yuuten Kazoku 2" will be held at Shimogamo Jinja Shrine in Kyoto, a World Heritage site, to pray for the success of "Yuuten Kazoku 2! Tadasumo no Mori Tanuki no Tsudoi" will be held at Shimogamo Jinja Shrine, a World Heritage site in Kyoto on Thursday, January 12, 2017. Takahiro Sakurai, who plays the main character Yazaburo Shimogamo, Mamiko Noto, who plays Benten, original author Tomihiko Morimi, director Masayuki Yoshihara, and producer Kenji Horikawa will appear at the event to pray for the success of the second season, and new information about the work, including the voice cast of new characters, OP/ED artists and main visuals, will also be announced.
