Winter anime "WIMUSHI PEDAL NEW GENERATION", theme song information has arrived!　Takaaki Natsushiro "Cadence" & Yusuke Saeki "Nowoa Ever

Information on the theme song of the TV anime "WIMUSU PEDAL NEW GENERATION," which will start in January 2017, has been announced.

The anime series is based on the manga of the same title by Wataru Watanabe, which is serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten). As the title suggests, "NEW GENERATION" features the passionate drama of the "New Generation Team" of Sohoku High School Cycling Club, including the main character, Sakamichi Onoda.

The opening theme "Cadence" is sung by singer Takaaki Natsushiro. The song will be performed for the first time at the "Anime JAM 2016" event on December 10.
On the other hand, the ending theme "Nauoanever," sung by singer-songwriter Yusuke Saeki, is a cheering song that rhymes playfully with "Do it now! The song rhymes as if it is being played, but it is a cheering song with a powerful message of "Do it now!
Each CD will be released on February 15, 2017 (Wednesday) from TOHO animation RECORDS. Each CD will be priced at 1,400 yen + tax for the anime disc, 1,700 yen + tax for the artist disc, and 1,200 yen + tax for the standard disc.

I have loved "Wimpy Pedal" since I was a student, and it has given me the courage to step forward, even though I have always tended to be downcast. When it was decided that I would be in charge of the opening song, I was really happy. I am honored. Thank you very much!
I wrote the music while thinking about how Onoda-kun and the other students would take the passion that Kaneshiro-san, Makishima-san, and Tadokoro-san, the third-year students, had left behind and what kind of driving they would show.
I hope that this work will encourage not only everyone in the story, but also everyone who listens to it.
I hope you will enjoy "Cadence" as much as I do!

The third season of the series is the beginning of a new generation and a new feeling. I am happy to be in charge of the ED for this milestone!　My name is Yusuke Saeki.
When I read the original work, I was particularly impressed by the sense of speed and heat in every moment. The moment of goal, the moment of frustration, and the moment when the feelings of each person intersect, I tried to put these various "only now" scenes into a song at pedaling speed. I would be happy if you could feel the "now" of many moments as well as the feelings of the characters. (By the way, my favorite "now" is Tadokoro-senpai and Himehime...)
