Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion", trilogy of film version and Next Project announced!　BD&DVD containing the 10th anniversary event will be released.

Information about new developments in the TV anime "Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion" has been announced.

Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion" is a TV anime that aired its first season in 2006 and its second season "R2" in 2008. Set in Japan, which has become a territory of the Britannian Empire, the work depicts Lelouch, a Britannian who has acquired the power of absolute compliance, putting on a mask named "Zero" and leading a resistance army against Britannia: Takahiro Kimura), which made it popular among both men and women.

The production of the film trilogy was announced at the "Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion: Kiseki no Anniversary" event held on November 27, 2016 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the start of the series. The film version will reconstruct all 50 episodes of the first and second "R2" seasons, adding new parts, and all new postrecording will be done for all the episodes. The first chapter is scheduled to be screened in 2017.
The start of the Next Project "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection" was also announced.

The event will include a new picture drama with live postrecording by the main cast, including Jun Fukuyama, who plays Lelouch, Takahiro Sakurai, Yukana, and Ami Koshimizu, as well as talks looking back on the 10th anniversary. A special live performance by ALI PROJECT and Hitomi (Hitomi Kuroishi), who sings the theme song and insert song, was also held, bringing the event to a successful conclusion.
The Blu-ray and DVD software containing the footage of this anniversary event will be released on April 21, 2017, and the Blu-ray and DVD will include the PV of Next Project "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection" as a video bonus.
